Column Guards
Column guards come in many shapes, sizes, and materials, and they are added to pallet rack systems to protect the base of the column from equipment strike damage. Column guards can also be referred to as post-protectors.
There are several styles of column guards. Some “hug” the column while others fit flush with the front of the column.
Mounting column guards:
- Bolt-on - bolts onto the column face via teardrop or round holes
- height – 30 cm – 40 cm
- protrudes approx. 07 cm into the aisle
- Floor mounted - free-standing in front of the column and anchored into the floor via a base plate
- height – 30 cm – 40 cm
- protrudes approx. 07 cm into the aisle
