Stack Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of the highly efficient Carton Transportation & Sorter system for a highly reputed, fast growing Retail E-commerce business in Kuwait. This latest solution is an end-of line modular Conveyor and Sorter System, capable of transporting packed carton/boxes from the packaging area to dispatch area and was designed by the in-house team to seamlessly integrate into our customer’s existing warehouse operations.
This project highlights Stack Group’s continued strength in developing efficient, bite-sized Conveyor systems, allowing customers to explore aspects of transitioning into automating warehouse operations, without committing to a complete overhaul of their warehouse facility.
This conveyor and sorter system is complete with high-speed roller sorters from a highly reputed Sorter manufacturer from Europe, DWS system (Dimensioning, Weighing & Scanning) etc., and is controlled by best-in-class PC-based Control Systems from Beckhoff Automation, Germany. The transportation system is mounted on the existing mezzanine systems, aligning perfectly with the client’s layout, ensuring smooth operation without the need for major layout adjustments. Its small footprint and modular design allow for easy installation, maintenance, and future upgrades, offering flexibility for evolving business needs.
In addition to this the solution includes highly reliable Vertical Goods Conveyor from Qimarox Netherlands, Goods Lifts from Turkey and together the system is capable of transporting packages and/or boxes of various sizes.
This solution was designed and was able to achieve a throughput of approximately fifty (50) boxes per minute and supported the customer to achieve approximately 20,000-25,000 customer orders per day, during peak sale season. Here, highly efficient conveyor & sorter processes and manual processes mesh harmoniously with each other to provide optimal performance, elegantly implementing classic warehouse processes such as goods-in, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and returns handling.
