To keep up with growth, Noor Asia, one of the top food import and distribution companies in Kuwait, looked for efficiencies at its new Cold Storage Warehouse. The company wanted to learn more about equipment and operations that could improve material handling processes and material flow at the warehouse. Noor Asia turned to Stack Group International, a specialist in Material storage and handling systems, to help evaluate its operations.
In evaluating opportunities to improve efficiencies, Stack Group focused on the pallet racking systems and lift truck fleet at the Cold Storage facility and ultimately the facility layout was conceptualized, designed and installation was successfully completed with food grade and freezer grade steel, freezing temperature steel Drive-In Racking system and the company introduced cold storage-equipped Jungheinrich Forklift truck, that are intelligently designed to be tough in harshest of environment.
As stakeholders with common objective, of making the new Cold Storage Distribution Center operational, Noor Asia contracted Stack Group for rental of Cold storage-equipped Jungheinrich Forklift for the duration of production, shipment and commissioning.
