Stack Group International Gen. Trad. Co. W.L.L. is proud to announce the successful supply and commissioning of a new fleet of Jungheinrich electric warehouse equipment for IKEA Kuwait, supporting the retailer’s continued focus on operational efficiency, productivity, and sustainable logistics.
Following a comprehensive evaluation process, IKEA Kuwait selected Stack Group as its trusted local partner for the delivery of 12 Jungheinrich electric warehouse trucks, consisting of:
- 5 Units – Jungheinrich Electric Low Level Order Picker (2,000 kg)
- 7 Units – Jungheinrich ERE 120 Electric Pedestrian Pallet Truck (2,000 kg)
In addition, the project scope included a significant enhancement to five VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) machines, where the lift height was successfully upgraded from 10.28 meters to 11.5 meters. This improvement not only increased vertical storage capacity and warehouse space utilization but also demonstrated the versatility of our Jungheinrich material handling equipment and the flexibility it offers in adapting to evolving warehouse layouts and operational requirements.
By modifying and upgrading the existing fleet rather than procuring new equipment, the project delivered substantial cost savings of more than EUR 600,000 while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting future warehouse expansion needs. Furthermore, extending the lifecycle and capability of the existing equipment contributed to reducing the overall carbon footprint associated with manufacturing, transportation, and commissioning of new machines, reinforcing the company's sustainability objectives.
The new fleet will support key warehouse activities including order picking, pallet transportation, and internal material movement, helping improve workflow efficiency and operational performance across IKEA Kuwait’s distribution operations.
